# VendorPayout

VendorPayout helps Shopify store owners track sales, calculate commissions, and manage payments for third-party vendors, artists, and affiliates. It automates vendor reporting, provides vendor-specific dashboards, and integrates with PayPal for payouts.

## Key Concepts

### Vendors
Vendors are third-party sellers/artists assigned to products. Each vendor has:
- Commission rate or fixed cost per product
- Access to their own dashboard
- Profit calculations based on line items

### Shops
Shopify stores using the app. Each shop has multiple vendors and syncs orders/products from Shopify.

### Line Items
Individual order line items tracked with vendor assignment, cost of goods (COGS), and profit calculations.

### Payouts
Automated or manual payments to vendors via PayPal based on calculated profits.
